Bluebonnet voting

3-5th graders who would like to participate in Bluebonnet voting in January must submit at least 5 reviews from among the 20 Bluebonnet nominees using the appropriate grade level form below:

5th grade review form

 

Any student who completes 5 reviews is eligible to vote in January and will earn a “Bluebonnet Cadet” button.

4^th graders have the option of going one step beyond and earning a “Bluebonnet Senior” button by doing all of the above plus they need to write or film one book recommendation from the current year’s Bluebonnet list.

5^th graders can achieve “Bluebonnet Ambassador” status by doing all of the above plus reading and submitting a review (using the link above) for 5 more books of their choice (so 10 books total, at least 5 of which are current year Bluebonnets), make two recommendations (either written or filmed—at least one is for a current Bluebonnet book) AND joining me for Bluebonnet Ambassador meetings in the spring, as they will be the students who introduce the Bluebonnets to 2^nd graders in late spring.

After you have submitted your 5 reviews, come to the library for voting!
