Our goal in third grade is that all children can and will learn in a safe orderly environment. Third graders are active participants in the learning process and are encouraged through discovery and experience to achieve their maximum potential. As teachers we are committed to providing students with the skills and strategies to be successful in a competitive global society. Third grade is a transitional year when learning expectations are greatly expanded, and students become even more academically independent.

We like to work as a team with students and parents to foster good study and organizational skills and habits. We believe homework is an extension of the concepts presented in class.
